I think the power lines add lots of interest here and don't detract from the shot at all. To follow the Rule of Thirds, as I understand it, the main focus points of the shot should fall at the intersections of that imaginary grid. If your shot does that, great. If NOT, then (to me) its a great example of breaking the rule of thirds! So either way, you win!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6206510615078295263.post-606106310627204872009-03-25T00:41:00.000+10:002009-03-25T00:41:00.000+10:00Ron, you did a wonderful job capturing the colors ...Ron, you did a wonderful job capturing the colors in this photo. Things in threes are always visually pleasing and this arrangement of birds is no exception. I feel that the image would be less interesting without the power lines. These beautiful birds and tree were shot in an urban setting, not in a wildlife refuge and the inclusion of the lines gives your image a sense of place. Sally is brilliant!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6206510615078295263.post-65321799218530685872009-03-24T14:20:00.000+10:002009-03-24T14:20:00.000+10:00Wow!
