#234-365 Pink

All North Americans know about Cricket (The Australian National Sport) so suffice it to know, that One of our Greatest Fast Bowlers Glen McGrath Lost his wife last June to Breast Cancer. Prior to her demise though they both set up the McGrath Foundation in an effort to provide Personal Nurses for women suffering this terrible affliction. Today is the third day of the third Cricket Test between Australia and South Africa and the whole cricket community have banded together to declare it Jane McGrath day and the colour for the foundation and subsequently the day is PINK.
This photo (Taken directly from the television) shows the commitment of the organizations involved and the people taking part to make it a success. I will be posting a thread on the ElementsVillage Pixel Hangout Forum later as the day is concluded for anyone interested. Thanks for your indulgence. Ron

Very, very nice for the theme, Ron!

We actually have a least one cricket pitch here in Ottawa. I'll have to try to work that into a post sometime during the year...

Love the PINK! I will check out your thread at the village - I volunteer to the cause. I have lost two relatives to the disease. Good for you!! Really good idea for pink!
