#336-365 Trash or Treasure

I snapped this adorable little girl chasing bubbles made by a vendor who was flogging them at the Paniyiri Sideshow area, then the mother of the girl took hold of the apparatus and had a go at it, then handed it back saying that it was just cheap plastic!

The little girl kept right on chasing and cried out "No Mummy, They're BEAUTIFUL". Which just goes to prove that it is all in the eyes of the beholder, so don't be quick to judge.

Sorry if yesterday's tirade was a bit much but a moron had angered me up the road earlier and I needed to let off steam in a big way, cause if I store up that steam I tend to blow a poofle valve, and you know that can't be good and anyway I am what I is!

This shot must definately be enlarged to capture the fun bubbles! Great capture, and she's a treasure.

It is the dream that is important, not the plastic that makes the dream. Lovely photo, a keeper, a treasure. You captured the child's dream perfectly.

I hope the mom buys her daughter one of those 79 cent bottles of bubbles and teaches her how to dip the wand in the solution, position it properly, and blow the bubbles with a puff of her breath. Remember that sense of accomplishment at CREATING a perfect big bubble? What are we teaching kids if we have to buy them a machine to make something as simple as a soap bubble?

You do have an eye for picking out these little gems amongst all the festivity!

You're right Ron...beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A beautiful bubble glimmering in the sun with a rainbow on it would captivate me now!
Love your shot and commentary.

Bubbles bring out the kid in all of us. Love the shot of the little girl playing with them (regardless of how they were formed).

I love bubbles, just as every child does ;o) So what if they comes from something made out of cheap plastic? It is the result that counts and the bubbles are beautiful and so is the picture.
