I know a lot of you were expecting a Mug Shot of me under this banner but Sally and I agree that this poor twisted tree is far more interesting, it is located on Bribie Island about 45 minutes drive North East of here! What I love most about old dead trees is the way that the fauna finds so many uses for them, nothing wasted in Nature.

You are absolutely right, this image did surprise me, your mind would have been a no brainer for the theme, but....I have to admit this tree is the second best image for the theme! :)
Yep, dead trees are great things. And very photogenic.
