Another shot of the Gorilla and his heat effected mother, doesn't seem to bother him much though, looks like he is contemplating what mischief he can get into while Mum is comatose. Not sure what category but found a shot of a peacock that suffered from the heat at the zoo that day, will post it somewhere. Another shot of the Gorilla and his heat effected mother, doesn't seem to bother him much though, looks like he is contemplating what mischief he can get into while Mum is comatose. Oh, the gray hairs are about to come out in this moma - especially if you are helping baby gorilla man contemplate on what move to make next! I feel for that poor mama! And you are right loved that comment from yesterday, I,too, hope she gets that image of you out of her head LOL!!
One would think the zoo has an awful lot tied up into this creature, so why don't they do something to make her life more comfortable? If she continues to be stressed, she could lose her mother's milk and the baby would then suffer. If nothing else, I'd at least find a couple of 50 pound blocks of ice to slide into her cage. Or mount some fans . . . or something.
Kids are so resillent but poor mama. I'd have heat stroke too!!
