#283-365 Silhouette

Yesterday as I was just about out the door on my way to darts and fleeing from the evenings episode of Eastenders, Sally dropped a hint that she would like a cup of tea, being the dutiful soul that I am I spent the time to make it (and risked deafness by being subjected to the Cockney Accent for a full half hour).
My good deed was rewarded because as I went out the door I was greeted by the sky you see to the left, if I had gone straight away I would have been on the road without a camera. As it was a shot run inside and I captured this as you can see it, I literally stepped out the door across to the kerb and click.
I had not seen that texture to the clouds before but that is what was in the sky, exactly as I remember it. Obviously there is no truth to the old wives tale about shepherds as although it hasn't rained the day has been a miserable cloudy afair that almost convinced Sally not to hang out the washing before she went off to her volunteer office Job at U3A, while I sat at home practicing darts, playing on the computer, watching TV and eating almost half a large jar of cashews that I hope she doesn't notice till I'm out of the house. (We both Love Cashews and I only intended having a couple I promise.)

Man! You really lucked into this photo, didn't you? Great photo and wondrous colors too. Nice composition. One thing about sunsets, they change very quickly. Did you get any of the succession of changes? You did good, Ron!

I have tried to reply to your Elements message. My computer is in a snit. It kept telling me that I was not logged in and I lost the message - again. So I just quit trying.

Now wasn't it worth being nice to your wife? I think if I were you, I would do this more often (see how SHE awards you)! Hmmmmm....wonder what will happen when she notices her cashews missing....:)

At our house there are 4 of us fighting over the cashews (needlas to say, the boys normally win)!

Lucky you to capture this great sunset with the super silhouette skyline. Hopefully Sally will let the Cashew raid slide since you were so accomodating with the tea.

I would... well, do almost anything for a shot like this. Ron, fabulous colours, and composition, too.

Okay, maybe I'll have to relocate to Oz...
