#226-365 Passion

I thought it was time to stop Karen (klsbear) from worrying, she thought that this post of mine would involve a self portrait, involving lots of skin and very little inhibition, so as a favour to the rest of you, I thought that it would be best to show you this montage of the PASSIONfruit vine growing outside our back door.
This was a long project really, that was decided on when I posted "Spiral" earlier on. It shows the pod formed but unopened, then a number of the flowers that were produced. Which strangely I never saw a bee around, I think those Hornets I posted did the pollination here. Then the fruit which forms from the pollinated flower and growing on the vine, all the way up to the delicious High Fibre delight you see depicted lower right of frame. Don't forget you all owe me for not going with Karen's idea, I think I would have been shocked, but mainly by Sally's laughter.

Madelaine said she would pass on trying Passionfruit, she is missing out on one of the Joys of Life - It is Super Delicious.

What a fabulous idea for this theme!
The vine with its fruit and flowers is gorgeous and it's right outside your door! Amazing! I've never tasted passion fruit but truthfully, your photo of it is so clear and detailed that I think I'll pass on it! : D

From your photo, it looks delicious! Great getting all those things together for us to see. I'd love to give it a try.

Well that's something different! My passion flower (remember I had that on my theme too ;-)) is a small potplant and that's all I get.....
and the fruits I have to get in the foodstore for. Lucky you having one outside like that!!
and - a great shot showing me and others what they can look like

Well Ron, I can sleep tonight - I've been hesitant to visit your blog as we get down to the end of the list and this still hadn't been posted. I'm glad you chose this - having never seen a passion fruit or flower it's quite unique and intriquing. Nice close up on the Amends photo too!
