#011-365 Angels or Devils

I first took this shot on an early morning winters day stroll down by the water at Scarborough, and first off wanted to take the shot to Juxtaposition the push bikes passing the Grunt Machines parked by the side of the road. As I snapped it the guy in front snapped an expletive, which caised the young girl to stop and say "Don't mind him - He's always grumpy on a Sunday morning!" She then gave me an Angelic Smile and went on her way, obviously looking to find more people to apologize to, for her father. That gave me the thought for this theme, but as I was standing there contemplating deleting the shot (Due to the Devils outburst) The owners of the other two bikes approached, clad in Leathers, and I thought here we go again.
This turned out not to be what I expected either, The Guy in front looked like any biker you can think of hence the thought Devil sprang into my head again, but I couldn't have been wronger (Is that a word?) He was as pleasant and polite as a country Parson. Wanted to see the shot I took and even loaned his companion's bell Helmet to make the LCD screen more viewable. You can't judge a book by it's cover. His companion was a stunningly beautiful young lady whom they both assured me was the real devil, when she got astride her Harley. I asked to take a shot but she declined saying that she wasn't supposed to be out riding and put the helmet back on. I would have liked the shot but settled for this one as it shows the elements of what happened very well and all I missed out on was a photo of a pretty young girl.

That was an interesting read to go along with the shot. You just can't judge people are situations too quickly. We all know that, but we all do it.

Amazing how people react, isn't it? That would be off-putting to me too after that kind of reaction. But you got your shot and this little girl looks like an angel! Glad you didn't toss the photo.

Like the story behind this!
I got angry at a photographing lady yesterday.. There seems to be a fight between the owners of a kebab bar and its neighbours and this lady was sneaking around taking photos at the clients eating in front of the bar with her cellphone.. I can assure you she will never be a good spy.. ;o) I got irritated as I do not like being involved in other peoples stuff, and I didnt like the way she was sneaking around with her phone trying to make us believe she was reading textmessages... I should have snapped one of her! But I had my hands full of kebab.. ;o)

I love people watching and it sounds like you analyzed these people perfectly! Fun for the theme (by the way, I am sure all these devils and angels (mostly the angels) were members of the systerhood!

Creative way to use the theme. And it looks like it was a lovely morning to be out with your camera.

Angelic alright - and another entertaining photo to go with the shot. By the end of the year you'll have befriended half the town!

Hey Ron,

Guess what I just got? Your folder popped up in my Bloglines filled with 42 photos! lol
As to this photo, I enlarged it and that little "angel" reminds me of Linda Blair in 'The Exorcist'! No kidding...did you really look at her? She looks possessed! I do love all the shadows and the juxtaposition of the bikes!

Interesting story, Ron. I find that it just doesn't bother me as much as it used to to have a bad reaction to my picture taking. I just strug it off and find another place to shoot.
