#039-365 Candlelight

Here are two more shots taken last weekend and I would like to apologize for including two, but I like them both, but in a different way. The first, taken just after dusk has a soft calming appeal that hints ever so slightly at the vibrancy and vigour that darkness will reveal as in the second shot. I just can't get over how fairytale like Brisbane becomes when transformed by night and electricity.

You are right about the two images, that deep blue sky does add a calming effect and the total night shot makes the city come ALIVE! Glad you included both!

Ron - first glowing dinosaurs, now a UFO? What sort of otherworld creatures are you conjuring up? Tammy's right (but then you knew that!) - good to see the contrast of the two shot and that blue does have a nice serenity about it.

What Karen referred to as a UFO is the Roulettes Aerobatic team in fly over ov Brisbane.

Great comparison, but I favor the first one because of the blue sky. Beautiful city lights!

Speaking of lighting up, check out my blog for some news.

Ron, are you hanging out the side door of a helicopter to get these shots? I suspect this is a s t r e t c h e d theme:)

I really like the second shot better. It has much more vibrancy. Great image.

I like the one with the UFO. Were you abducted by aliens?
