#120-365 Gentle

I am totally amazed at the number of really acceptable shots that I have been able to get out of that scungy old storm water drain at the back of our place. This is just water peacefully passing across two or three of the concrete blocks that go to make up the canal, but which have dropped over the years, producing Super Gentle-Mini-Falls for the water to pass over and providing this peaceful calming image.

Great image. It really looks very gentle.

Judging from this shot, it looks more like a peaceful lake than storm waters, at least it is not FROZEN! :)

Hi Ron,
Awesome shot for the theme! Reminds me a summer rain, nice a gentle, not storming. Have a great day!

Sometimes the best is right in your own yard. Like the reflection and the gentle ripples -good find.

I like the light on the water and the ripple effect. Nice composition and shot.

Nice reflections and gradation of color. I guess the radioactive Nessie is in another part of the loch right now...
